No Portable Medical History
A vaccination administered at four weeks does not follow the animal to its next vet, its next owner, or its next jurisdiction. Critical history is re-entered, lost, or fabricated.
No Universal Animal Identity
Microchip, tattoo, registration number, license tag, kennel ID — none interoperate. An animal can carry five identifiers and still be unidentifiable in an emergency.
No Connected Ecosystem
Breeder software does not talk to veterinary PIMS. PIMS does not talk to municipal licensing. Licensing does not talk to lost-and-found networks. Each gap is a point where animal welfare fails.
Stewardship, not ownership.
Every system urSynergy builds is governed by a single inviolable principle: the animal owns the record. Humans are stewards.
In practice this means the record is structured around the animal's identity — not the breeder who produced it, the vet who treats it, the shelter that holds it, or the owner who lives with it. Every human relationship in the record is a time-bound stewardship role with explicit start, end, and handover events. When stewardship transfers, the record continues unbroken.
This principle has architectural consequences. Records cannot be deleted by stewards — only redacted with audit. Identity cannot be re-issued — only continued. Access is consent-scoped to the steward's role and time window, not granted in perpetuity. Permanent identity is the foundation; stewardship is the access model layered on top.

Privacy-Preserving Animal Identity Resolution
A three-layer cryptographic resolver that separates the physical scannable token, the junction record, and the animal record across isolated databases. A scanner can confirm an animal's existence and resolve emergency contact without ever reading the animal's identity. Compromise of the tag layer cannot expose ownership; compromise of the identity layer cannot enumerate tags. Owner identity is never co-located with the scannable surface.
Descriptor-Based Animal Matching System
A structured-descriptor matching engine that resolves probable identity from observable physical characteristics — without dependence on photographs, microchip scans, or owner-provided identifiers. Enables found-animal reunification across jurisdictions where no shared identifier exists, and handles the partial-information case (broken tag, no microchip, deceased owner) that current systems cannot.
Veterinary-to-Pharmacy Prescription Routing Pipeline
A structured prescription routing layer that originates an authoritative veterinary Rx in one system and delivers it to any participating pharmacy as a verified, controlled-substance-compliant transaction — with fulfillment confirmation flowing back to the animal's record. Closes the open loop between prescription and dispense that PIMS-to-pharmacy integration historically cannot.

Animal records are sensitive in ways that consumer software does not anticipate. urSynergy's posture is documented, enforced, and independently verifiable.
Immutable Audit Trail
Every read of sensitive data is logged append-only. Audit records cannot be amended or deleted by any operator, including platform admins. Subpoena-defensible by design.
Zero PII on Physical Media
A scannable tag carries no owner identity, no animal identifier, no contact information. The physical surface reveals nothing in the absence of authenticated resolution.
Consent-Scoped Access
Stewards see the record fields their role and time-window justify — never more. Vets see clinical, municipalities see compliance, finders see emergency contact. Scope is enforced at the data layer, not the UI.
White-Label Architecture
Municipalities, veterinary networks, and breed associations can deploy branded surfaces backed by the same record infrastructure. Tenant isolation is structural, not cosmetic.
Records are owned by the animal, not the platform. Operators are custodians under contract. urSynergy does not sell, license, or monetize record data. Aggregate, de-identified statistics may be published in service of animal welfare research; identifiable data never leaves the steward relationship that originated it.
